my pledge

When, Elected Mayor I will bring a sense of accountability; acknowledging that as Mayor I represent the people of Sylacauga, rather it be by my words or my deeds. This in turn provides assurance that the CITIZENS OF SYLACAUGA are my PRIORITY. Having been elected by the people, I will consciously work to provide services to our citizens with humility and govern accordingly. In faith, I know that with God, ALL things are possible. While embracing the entire community and my family, I will lead, protect, serve, and advise with strength, love, faith, and fairness. The voices of growth, strength, and understanding have been silenced far too long. It is time to bring the voice of reason, hope, and prosperity back to Sylacauga. As the mayor of Sylacauga, I will seek new opportunities for business, bringing revenue into the city and minimizing the tax burden of our citizens. I will devote my energy towards enhancing the educational system for our youth and create innovative programs to facilitate opportunities for adults who desire work requiring a higher education. As a licensed nurse, I understand and the necessity for individuals of all socioeconomic classes to receive healthcare and will work to facilitate fair access to this complex system. With passion and endurance, I will work for the people to make Sylacauga a pleasant, safe, and thriving place to live.
